Our area is based around Mt Toolebewong, which is between Healesville and Don Valley, Victoria. Membership is welcome from owners of property and schools in this region, and we welcome community volunteers to assist us at our community planting events.
We regularly monitor the Juliet Avenue Bushland Reserve in Badger Creek to record animals and plants present, and conduct an annual walk here usually in Spring.
Natural history sightings by the group are uploaded to YouTube and iNaturalist. We thank Melbourne Water for a Community Grant, which supplied our wildlife monitoring cameras in 2015.
We offer a range of events throughout the year for members. We are committed to offering safe and culturally sensitive events for all, including neuro and gender diverse members of the community. Our landcare group abides by Landcare Victoria Inc's Child Safety Guidelines for Landcare Groups, 2022, and the 11 Child Safe Standards for Victoria. Children must be accompanied by an adult or guardian at our events.
Our Strategic Plan was updated in 2019.
